| Join the Campaign for A Working Democracy The Campaign for A Working Democracy is a national network of individuals who support its goals and want to help spread its message of economic and social freedom. The Campaign for A Working Democracy is not a political party. It is the organization that recruits like-minded people who agree that a new party is needed to achieve Working Democracy. (Please see Strategy for Change for our program for creating a Working Democracy peacefully and democratically.) Once our membership reaches 5,000 individuals, a Convention will be called to consider the formation of a new political party. You can play a vital part in building the movement by joining the Campaign and thereby bringing us closer to the 5,000-member landmark. Just as Working Democracy is rank-and-file economic self-government, the movement to achieve it must be organized and controlled by the workers themselves. We welcome everyone of whatever backround, career, age or ethnicity who understands the importance of grassroots intitiated change and wants to help! Annual membership dues are $20.
